Now that the wedding season has come to an end I’ve been busy trying to fill my time with other photographic adventures. I’ve got a few lined up but this one was a particular favourite of mine. I spent two day creating imagery for The Michel Roux JR Cookery School (who by the way, won the Food and Travel award for Best Cookery School of the Year - big congratulations to them!).
I have to say after photographing four of their classes I was very tempted to book myself in for a few more lesson. Their lessons taught me things that I hadn’t even thought of whilst cooking- Like how to remove a fish’s skin the correct way or removing vanilla from a vanilla pod. It really was fascinating to learn from some of the best cooks in London- I even learnt how to use knives in the correct way.
“Thanks so much, we LOVE, the photos!! They are fantastic and we can’t wait to get some of them up on the website. We’ll definitely keep you in mind for future work.”
Anna Ratcliffe, Director, Cactus Kitchens
“Thank you for sending the headshots over- all the pictures look AMAZING! It is so exciting to see it all come alive and finally have beautiful pictures of our cookery school!”
Hannah Birch, Corporate Events Manager, Cactus Kitchens
Anyway, enough said. Here are just some of the photographs:
