How do you go about photographing our wedding day?
I love to respond to the moment of a scene. Without bossing people about or being annoying, I capture moments which often go unseen. I make sure that you have a collections of images that tell the story of your day and all the parts in-between.
I also believe that group shots are very important, it’s a great opportunity to make sure all your friends and family are remembered in future years. Around 3-4 weeks before your wedding I will send you a form with 7 spaces to write down who would you like in your groups shots. It’s no problem if you would like more then that, I’ll just need more allocated time.
When will we see our photos?
I will send your hi-res edited images to you within 3 weeks of your wedding. I send the USB first class recorded delivery so you will definitely have your images within 1 month of your wedding.
Will we get hi-res photos?
You will receive hi-res edited photos (which are printable up to A4) on your USB. The images in the client gallery are accessible to anyone you give the password to and they can order prints or download the images to print themselves.
Will the photographs all be in colour or do we get some in black and white too?
When I’m editing your images I will pick you the ones that I think look great in Black and White- the rest of your images will be full colour. If you would like a specific image to be black and white you can always drop me an email of the image name and I will edit it for you and send you a copy (at no extra cost)
Can you hold a date for us?
As soon as you pay me a 15% deposit fee I block the whole day out for you. I offer a no obligation pre-wedding meeting (I can meet you anywhere within London and within a 20mile radius of Kingston Upon Thames) so if you wish to discuss and get to know me first that is fine!
Do you do engagement shoots?
I love doing engagement shoots! You can see an example of one here. If you’ve booked one of my packages I charge £100 for 3 hour shot. You get at least 50 fully edited, hi-res images on a client gallery which are all downloadable and you have full right to print and use them for personal use.
Do you work alone or with somebody else?
I usually work alone but if you’re having an extra big wedding (150 guests +) I would advise paying an extra £200 and having another photographer there to cover everything that’s going on. I am part of a few networks of photographers and I always make sure whoever I work with produces high quality work and uses professional equipment. I personally edit all the photographs which were taken by us and return them as part of your USB package and online gallery.
What do you do when you’re not shooting a wedding?
Believe it or not I actually work very very hard. When I’m not shooting a wedding or editing photographs I work in an art shop and exhibition space. We run creative workshops for adults and children. I used to work here full time but In February 2014 I went part-time to pursue my dream of being a full-time wedding photographer.
Do you need a meal at our wedding?
When your guests are eating, I tend not to photograph. Mainly because from experience, guests don’t like being photographed when they’re enjoying your glorious food.
What happens now?
If you’re considering to book me as your wedding photographer then I would be more than happy to meet you and discuss the plans! Please feel free to drop me a line.
What happens after booking?
After we’ve met (or skyped/chatted) I will send you a preliminary invoice (sorry!) with the details of the agreed cost of your wedding photography. I send this straight after the deposit has been paid so that you have a receipt for your records. I will send the same invoice again 1 month before your wedding so you’re refreshed that I need to be paid the remaining balance within 2 weeks of your wedding. Along with your invoice I will send a form where I ask details about the group shots and wedding details. This can be filled out and sent to me within two weeks of your wedding.
