A month ago I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Emma Edmonds at her office and operating theatre on Harley Street, London. Emma Edmond is a dermatologist who specialise in skin cancer.
Harley Street is the most popular place in the UK for private specialists in medicine and surgery. I took these photos to give Emma’s clients an idea and sense of where she works. It’s important for websites to feature professional photography of employees and founders but even more so for dermatologists. Dermatologists are providing a very personal service- most clients are placing their well-being into the hands of these doctor and to trust them is crucial.
After a couple of hours- when I felt I had enough shots to add character to Emma’s websites- we did a shoot in her office to get some natural, honest portraits.
These are a few that we took. After our portrait session I edited and did a small amount of re-touching (like taking objects and light switches out)
