I knew Mary from when we we’re both at Sixth Form together in 2009 so it was a real pleasure to get to photograph Josh’s and her day. The bridal party began getting ready at Mary’s family home in Chessington at around 9 30.
We then went onto the Ceremony which took place in her local Church in Chessington at the King’s Centre. This is Mary’s local church which she is a member of so with Josh’s friends and family included, the congregation was huge!
After the service there was a lot of talking and cake and tea and hugging. I used this chance to attempt to get a natural photograph of everyone that was there!
Painshill Park is a gorgeous venue. Surrounded by wildlife and vineyards it’s a perfect place to take beautiful natural shot. Before I even knew I would someday be doing Painshill Park Wedding Photography, I used to go there to have tea and coffee at the cafe. Mary & Josh’s Wedding wasn’t at the cafe though, it was in large marquee with a large walled garden out the front where we took group shots of everyone. But before the group shots, I was allowed 45 minutes to get photographs of just the two of them…
Then onto group shots…
At dusk we all went inside. There was a sit down meal, after which there were speeches and more cake and a lot more talking and then some dancing! It was a truly wonderful wedding!
